Our Campground Guidelines

Making Your Stay Pleasant, Safe, and Respectful of Others

These guidelines have been established for your safety and to allow you and your fellow campers to enjoy a memorable stay at Harbor Hill. Failure to follow these simple guidelines will force us into a position of having to ask you to terminate your stay a little earlier than you had planned. Please understand that we are a family campground, and these reasonable guidelines have made our campground successful with happy, repeat customers. Drop by the camp office if you need more details.

CHECK IN TIME: 1:00 PM - CHECK OUT TIME: 11:00 – ALL CAMPSITES     
CHECK IN TIME: 2:00 PM - CHECK OUT TIME: 11:00 – RENTALS & CABINS
Check in is up till 8:00pm, out of consideration for our other guests. 

QUIET HOURS: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM Voices should be at a whisper and all outside radios/TV's must be off. During our nightly rounds we may stop by to let you know you can be heard.

PETS:

  • One pet is allowed per site and must be kept quiet at all times. If any pet is creating a disturbance or being a nuisance, the pet will be asked to leave the campground.
  • All pet droppings, even when done in the woods, must be picked up. Bag dispensers are available at the bath houses and sport court.
  • Pets must never be left unattended.
  • Pets need to be on a short leash when walking in the campground. Children may walk pets only if they can control the pet. When at the campsite, please tie your pet with a strong rope that will not allow the pet to extend off the campsite in any direction.
  • Pets are not allowed in any campground buildings, inside pool area or play areas.
  • Proper papers for vaccination should be available.

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES are allowed only within the confines of your campsite.

 

POOL:

  • No Lifeguard on duty, swim at your own risk.
  • Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult (18 years or older).
  • Food, glass containers, sharp objects, floats and rafts are not permitted.
  • Hours: 10:00 am to dusk

PARKING: Please do not obstruct the road ways. Most sites can accommodate two cars. Please park additional cars out front in our Visitor's lot. Sorry, parking in not permitted at the pool.

VISITORS: Visitors must be registered and should be met at the front gate. We ask that visitors depart by 8:30 pm unless other arrangements are made with the office. Sorry, visitors cannot bring a pet.

SPEED LIMIT: 5 MPH through out the campground

CAMPFIRES: Campfires must always be attended and confined to fire rings. DO NOT move fire rings. Please make certain the fire is completely out before retiring for the night. Douse with water, never use sand. At times, campfires may not be permitted due to dry weather conditions.

TREES: Please do not cut or break any standing tree, dead or alive.

ELECTRIC HEATERS: Electric heaters or water heaters are strictly prohibited.

BE CONSIDERATE: Please do not cut through campsites.

PLAYGROUND: The slides, swings, etc., are for children 12 and under. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

MOTORIZED scooters or carts are not permitted anywhere in the campground.

WASHING and repairing of vehicles is not permitted unless prior arrangements are made.

REFUNDS: Harbor Hill is a member of the NH Campground Owners Association and follows their policy which requires a two-week cancellation notice.

These guidelines are for everyone’s safety and enjoyment. We appreciate your cooperation. Failure to follow these rules will force us to ask you to terminate your stay earlier than you may have planned – if this should happen – sorry, no refunds are available.
